Since theres already a song one I thought I'd make a song AND music. Whats your favorite music (doesn't have to have words) from Final Fantasy?

Mine is Someday the Dream will End-->Final Fantasty X (Zanarkand)

Followed by Cosmo Cannon--->Final Fantasy VII

Three way tie for third--->The Castle/Liberi Fatali/The Stage is Set--->Final Fantasy VIII

FF9 has my favorite Final Fantasy music. "Melodies of Life" has got to be my favorite song of all time, in any language, from anywhere.

And when it comes to the insturmentals, "Rose of May," and "Todakanu Omoi" are absolutely breathtaking. I've played them for people who don't play FF (or games, period) and they always ask me where the music came from. Plus music like "Hilde Guarde III" and "Hitori Ja Nai" are always awesome.

From FF6, Terra's Theme is absolutely gorgeous. Another of my favorite pieces.

FF1's original theme is my favorite of all FF themes.

FF7's "Could's Theme" and "Terra's Theme" are two others I love listening to, but "Aeris' Theme" has GOT to be one of the most heartbreaking and uplifting themes I've ever heard. FF8... "RAGNAROK!" XD Plus I like the Chocobo theme incarnation from that particular game. And FF10's "To Zanarkand," and "Tidus Theme," plus "Rikyuu's Theme" get a lot of play on the CD.

"Anxious Heart" and "Aeris' Theme" from FF7 would have to be my favourites.

The theme song "The Dream Within" from the Final Fantasy Movie: The Spirits Within is pretty good also. I'm not sure if that counts in this thread though ^^"

There are a lot of great songs from the FF games, but Otherworld from FFX is the only one I can actually listen to when not playing the games.

I like all of the Chocobo themes! Even the one for The Chocobo Hot and Cold game! I forgot what it's called (Ukele de Flammico? Sorry) they are all so cute, except for the FFX-2 one. That one's not cute.
