I prefer the cold to the heat. At least I can sleep when it's cold!

For me it depends. If we're talking like blazing dry heat like right now I can't sleep comfortably like that and I will wake up dehydrated and dying later on.
If it is too cold I'll wake up and do that thing when you have ridiculously cold air in your lungs and your core body temperature has dropped somewhat. I hate that.
Thankfully, this apartment building is very well insulated. We're never cold...its the summer that is the bad part.

Wait....my insulation works both ways Sean. Keeps me warm in winter, cool in summer. Do you guys have some kind of cheapass single option insulation over there in yonder states?

No, most residential homes here and properly built modern buildings as well have normal effective up to date insulation materials in their construction(minus various areas where one type of weather occurs more then others as the environment in which something is built effects the normal decision making process on the use and installment of certain insulation materials).
I think you're talking modern energy efficient insulation. Real insulation in other words. Insulation that is properly made to do what insulation does best by cooling and warming an enclosed environment depending on the general temperature of a location and depending on the type of structure it is.
When I say insulation for the winter portions of the year here where I live I simply mean this cluttered broken apartment building has limited air ways. This building was once a bachelor's apartment location in the 50s/60s but now it is a just a low cost apartment complex in south Denver. The years have not been good to this place and the lack of normal upkeep has killed whatever basic of insulation practices they've used in its original construction and whatever they've been doing now.
In the summer we are roasting and have to blow the hot air out of the apartment with large window fans and keep the front door ajar to create a wind tunnel in our apartments from the built in swamp coolers the building has in the hall way ceilings. Essentially, there is no nice building cooling insulation going on at all on the roof, on the walls of the building, or in the building. In the summer we have learned it just gets hot in the building and we deal with it.
Whereas in the winter we just need to keep the windows closed and the apartment building stays pretty comfortable. Sometimes an extra blanket is warranted if it is a blizzard outside but, if it is just snowing we're fine. Though, Mom always insists on using the heater they installed two years ago(she jokes she is getting old but, she is barely scratching the beginning of her 40s).

You know, that has possibly got to be the longest post I have ever seen in regards to insulation....or possibly about the weather....or both.

I make it look easy but, it was incredibly dull to type. True story.
Now to figure out the pose I need for this drawing of a Goblin from Magic the Gathering I'm doing for a contest.

*sigh* I unblocked you because I thought you got the message. I hate blocking people but looks like I'll have to do it again. Why won't you understand?
Sorry, ghost of boyfriend's past. Again.
Well, no more. I hate blocking people but, this block I ain't removing.
Facebook in gerenal pees me off sometimes. I did the 'Day Without Facebook' one day, and it was actually quite good, a weight off my mind. I did miss a few people but nothing major.
Entire families communicate solely through this medium, and I find that quite sad, actually.

Coming home from work I saw a lad with his hand into a girls trousers, obviously doing something rather sexual. This in full view of the road. And a kindergarten. And the children hadn't gone home.
That's strange.

I'm getting dividends! 170 pounds. Just because I'm a customer at my insurance company.
That's like 10 six-packs. That's 60 pints.
HELL YEAH!
