European FF13 box says no to Downloadable Content
February 8, 2010
Last week reports overran the web that the back of the US Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 box had been
posted online
and had a box stating the game would support "Content Downloads" - but now the European box is in disagreement.
The European box, pictured below, makes no mention of the Downloadable Content and has a nice little blank space where the box appeared on the
US box
. Check out our comparison picture below.
The European box art backs up the other discovery the US box made - that
Bink Video
will be used for compression of the game's hours of prerecorded cutscenes and CGI sequences.
Check out the image of the boxart in full below. FF13 is out a month tomorrow in the US and Europe - and we highly advise you get your preorders in! Amazon has the
Xbox 360 version here
and the
Playstation 3 version here.
There's a
Limited Edition Strategy Guide
for collectors, too.
